Window Tint in Manchester, NH | Premium Ceramic Window Tint
Nano-Ceramic Window Tint Films
Beat the heat on I-293, protect your interior from New Hampshire UV, and cut blinding glare with true ceramic window tint — professionally installed and backed by a lifetime warranty. We serve Manchester drivers from our climate-controlled shop just minutes up the road in Hooksett.
Why Manchester Drivers Choose IMS
Manchester is the busiest driving city in New Hampshire, and your windshield time shows it. Whether you are crawling south on I-293 in July, parking all day downtown near Elm Street, or running South Willow Street errands between the mall and the big-box stores, your car sits in direct sun far more than you think. That sun does three things every single day: it bakes the cabin, it fades and cracks your interior, and it throws glare across your dash right when traffic is heaviest.
Ceramic window tint is the simplest fix for all three, and Manchester’s climate is exactly why it pays off here. Southern New Hampshire summers now regularly push into the 90s, and a closed car in a South Willow parking lot can top 130°F inside. Ceramic film rejects the infrared energy that creates that heat, so your AC stops fighting a losing battle and the seats are touchable when you get back in. Come winter, that same film blocks the low-angle glare coming off snowbanks and the sun setting behind the Uncanoonuc hills on your evening commute.
We also see a lot of leased and late-model vehicles in the Manchester area — and leather, wood, and screen-heavy dashboards are exactly what UV destroys first. A few unprotected summers is all it takes to see cracked seats and a faded dash that hurt resale or trigger a lease turn-in charge. Tint blocks up to 99% of UV rays, so your interior looks factory-fresh years longer.
Manchester drivers choose IMS because we treat this like the craft it is. We are close enough to be convenient — a short, easy drive up Route 3 / I-293 from anywhere in the city — but far enough out of the downtown grind that we can run a spotless, dust-controlled shop where film goes on right the first time. You get big-city film brands and installation quality without the big-city wait or price.

The Benefits of Ceramic Window Tint
Not all window tint is the same, and ceramic is the reason the technology has changed so much in the last decade. Older dyed films just darkened the glass; modern nano-ceramic film is engineered to manage energy blocking heat and UV while staying optically clear and signal-friendly. Here is what that actually does for your vehicle and your comfort.
Heat rejection that you feel
Ceramic tint rejects a large share of total solar energy, and critically it targets infrared (IR) heat, the part of sunlight you feel as warmth on your arm. The best ceramic films reject well over 90% of infrared, which is why a properly tinted car feels dramatically cooler even when the tint looks light. Your AC reaches a comfortable temperature faster, holds it with less effort, and your fuel economy or EV range takes less of a hit on hot days.
Up to 99% UV protection
Ceramic film blocks up to 99% of the sun’s UVA and UVB rays. That protects two things: your skin and your interior. The American Academy of Dermatology and the Skin Cancer Foundation both note that side windows leave most cars largely unprotected against UVA , the rays tied to skin aging and cancer. For drivers who commute daily, that left-arm sun exposure adds up. Tint gives you a permanent, invisible layer of SPF on every window.
Interior protection
UV and heat are what fade your dash, crack your leather, and bleach your carpets and trim. Blocking them keeps your interior looking and smelling new, protects the tech-heavy screens in modern cars, and directly protects resale and lease-return value. Think of tint as insurance for the most expensive room you sit in every day.
Glare reduction
Glare is not just annoying, it is a safety issue. Low winter sun, wet pavement, snow glare, and oncoming headlights all strain your eyes and slow your reaction time. Ceramic tint cuts that glare across your side and rear glass so your eyes stay relaxed and your view stays sharp, day or night.
Privacy and security
Darker rear glass makes it far harder for anyone to see what is in your vehicle: laptops, tools, packages, kids in car seats. It adds a layer of everyday privacy and a real deterrent against smash-and-grab theft in downtown lots and garages.
Comfort for every passenger
Even heat, no hot spots, no squinting in the back seat. Families notice it immediately. Kids and pets ride cooler, and the whole cabin holds a steady, comfortable temperature instead of roasting on one side.
Signal-friendly technology
Older metallic tints could interfere with GPS, cell signal, radio, and toll transponders. Quality ceramic film contains no metal, so it does not block signals, your phone, navigation, EV connectivity, and E-ZPass all work exactly as they should.
Lifetime durability
Premium ceramic film is built to last. It will not bubble, peel, or fade over time, and it will not turn that tell-tale purple that cheap dyed tint is famous for. Installed correctly, it is a one-time investment backed by a lifetime warranty, which brings us to why installation quality matters as much as the film itself.
Why Choose IMS Detailing
The film brand on the window is only half the result. The other half is who installs it and how. A great film installed in a dusty garage by a rushed tech will bubble, lift at the edges, and disappoint you within a year. The same film installed properly will look flawless for the life of your car. Here is what you get with IMS.
Computer-cut precision patterns
We cut every piece of film from software-driven patterns matched to your exact year, make, and model. That means clean, factory-perfect edges, no razor blades near your glass or paint, and consistent coverage on every window — including the tricky curved rear glass that separates good installs from bad ones.
A clean, climate-controlled install environment
Tint’s number-one enemy is dust and contamination trapped under the film. We install in a dedicated, dust-controlled indoor bay — not a driveway or an open garage. That controlled environment is why our installs cure clear and stay clean, with no trapped debris or hazing.
Experienced, specialist installers
Window tint is a skill that takes years to master, especially the heat-shaping (shrinking) required to make flat film wrap compound-curved back glass. Our installers do this every day. You are not getting a generalist — you are getting someone who tints for a living.
Lifetime warranty
Our premium ceramic tint is backed by a lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, fading, and discoloration. It stays with the vehicle for as long as you own it. If anything ever goes wrong with the film, we make it right.
Hundreds of 5-star reviews
Our reputation is built on hundreds of genuine 5-star reviews from drivers across Manchester, Hooksett, Bedford, and the greater Southern New Hampshire area. We would rather you trust them than take our word for it — read them, then come see the difference in person.
Financing available
Premium work should not require you to compromise. We offer flexible financing, including 0% options, so you can get the film you actually want and split it into comfortable monthly payments.
Fast, respectful turnaround
Most vehicles are done same-day. We give you an honest time estimate up front, keep your car protected while it is with us, and never rush a job at the expense of quality. You get premium results without losing your week.
Local reputation you can stand behind
We are not a pop-up or a mobile guy working out of a trunk. We are an established local shop with a physical location, real reviews, and a name we protect. When you need us after the sale, we are still here.
Our Window Tint Installation Process
Transparency builds trust, so here is exactly what happens when you bring your vehicle to us. No mystery, no shortcuts.
- Consultation. We talk through how you use your vehicle, your goals (heat, looks, privacy, UV), and New Hampshire’s legal limits, then recommend the right film and shade — no upselling you into something you do not need.
- Film selection. You choose your package and darkness level. We show you samples on real glass so you can see exactly how each option looks and performs before we cut anything.
- Glass preparation. Every window is thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated. This step is where installs are won or lost — a single speck of dust under the film ruins the finish, so we are meticulous here.
- Computer-cut patterns. We cut your film from precise, model-specific digital patterns — no hand-cutting against your glass or trim.
- Heat-shaping (shrinking). We form the film to your curved glass with controlled heat so it lies perfectly flat with no fingers, creases, or gaps.
- Installation. The film is applied to the inside of each window and squeegeed out to remove every bit of water and air for a crystal-clear bond.
- Quality inspection. We inspect every window in proper light for edges, clarity, and alignment before your car leaves — and we hold ourselves to a no-visible-defects standard.
- Customer walkthrough. We walk you around the finished vehicle, explain the short cure period and aftercare, and answer every question before you drive off.
Tint Packages
We keep it simple with three clear tiers — Good, Better, Best. Every package is professionally installed with computer-cut patterns; the difference is how hard the film works to reject heat and how long it is guaranteed to last.
GOOD — Carbon · The dependable, budget-friendly choice A big step up from cheap dyed tint. Carbon film gives you a rich, matte-black look that never fades to purple, solid UV protection, and noticeably better heat control than basic tint — at an approachable price. Best for: Drivers who want a clean look, real UV protection, and better comfort on a budget.
BETTER — Ceramic IR · The sweet-spot upgrade most drivers pick True nano-ceramic film with strong infrared heat rejection. You feel the difference the moment you get in — a cooler cabin, big UV blocking, no signal interference, and a lifetime warranty. The best balance of performance and value. Best for: Daily commuters and families who want serious heat rejection without the top-tier price.
BEST — Premium Ceramic · Maximum performance, nothing compromised Our flagship film: the highest infrared and total-solar-energy rejection we offer, maximum clarity, up to 99% UV blocking, and our strongest lifetime warranty. This is the film for drivers who want the coolest, clearest, longest-lasting result available. Best for: Enthusiasts, luxury and EV owners, and anyone who wants the absolute best and keeps their vehicle for years.
Film Comparison: Dyed vs. Carbon vs. Ceramic
If you only compare tint by how dark it looks, you will overpay for the wrong film or underpay for one that fails. Compare it by what it actually does. Here is how the three main film types stack up.
| Feature | Dyed | Carbon | Ceramic |
|---|---|---|---|
| Heat rejection | Low | Good | Excellent |
| Infrared (IR) rejection | Minimal | Moderate | Excellent |
| UV protection | Good | Great | Up to 99% |
| Won’t fade / turn purple | No | Yes | Yes |
| Optical clarity | Fair | Good | Excellent |
| Signal-friendly (no metal) | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Glare reduction | Basic | Good | Excellent |
| Lifetime warranty | No | Yes | Yes |
| Best for | Lowest cost | Value + looks | Max performance |
Vehicles We Tint
Every vehicle is different, and each one has its own quirks — curved glass, factory privacy tint, big panoramic roofs. We tint them all, and we match the film and approach to the vehicle.
Cars & sedans. From daily commuters to sports cars, we deliver clean, legal, great-looking tint that keeps your cabin cool and your interior protected on every South Willow Street errand and I-293 commute.
SUVs & crossovers. SUVs bake in the sun and often haul kids, pets, and gear. We tint the large rear glass and quarter windows for even cooling, privacy, and UV protection where your passengers actually sit.
Trucks. Work truck or weekend truck, tint cuts cab heat, kills dashboard glare on the highway, and keeps tools and gear out of sight. We handle everything from compact pickups to heavy-duty crew cabs.
Teslas & EVs. EVs are where ceramic tint truly shines. Cutting solar heat load reduces how hard the climate system works, which helps protect your range on hot days — and our non-metallic ceramic film never interferes with the connectivity, sensors, or screens EVs rely on. We tint Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X, plus other popular EVs, all the time.
Luxury & performance vehicles. Premium interiors deserve premium protection. We treat high-end vehicles with extra care, using top-tier ceramic film and flawless edges that complement — never cheapen — the car.
Commercial & fleet vehicles. Vans, service vehicles, and small fleets get cooler cabs, protected interiors, and a more professional look. Ask about fleet scheduling and pricing to keep your vehicles consistent and your crews comfortable.
Window Tint Pricing: What Affects the Cost
We believe in honest, transparent pricing — no bait-and-switch, no mystery. Tint is custom work, so the exact price depends on your vehicle and the film you choose, but here is precisely what moves the number so there are no surprises.
- Vehicle size and glass count. A two-door coupe has less glass than a three-row SUV. More (and bigger) windows mean more film and labor.
- Film choice. Carbon, Ceramic IR, and Premium Ceramic sit at different price points. You are paying for heat rejection and warranty, not just darkness.
- Windshield tint. A full windshield film (where legal — see NH law below) or a sun strip is priced separately from the side and rear glass.
- Panoramic roof / sunroof. Large glass roofs common on SUVs and EVs add significant film area and are a popular add-on for heat control.
- Old tint removal. If your vehicle has existing tint — especially old, bubbled, or purple film — safe removal and adhesive cleanup add time before we can install fresh film.
- Curved & complex glass. Heavily curved back glass and small quarter windows take more skill and time to shape perfectly.
The best way to get an exact, all-in price is a quick quote — tell us your year, make, and model and the result you are after, and we will give you a clear number with no pressure.

What window tint packages do you offer?
We offer three main options: a Standard Ceramic Tint (front two doors or full vehicle) with strong heat rejection at a great value; a Premium KAVACA Package using top-tier Ceramic IR film for maximum heat and UV rejection with a lifetime warranty; and a Tint + Ceramic Coating Bundle that pairs your tint with a coating package so you save on both. What's the difference between KAVACA Ceramic IR and Carbon Color Stable film?
KAVACA Ceramic IR Window Film offers excellent heat rejection, glare control, and filters 96% of infrared heat. KAVACA Carbon Color Stable Window Film uses non-metallic nano-carbon technology, is available in black or charcoal, and filters 70% of infrared heat. Both block up to 99% of UVA & UVB rays.
Is KAVACA window tint covered by a warranty?
Yes. All KAVACA window films from Ceramic Pro are backed by a lifetime warranty.
How do I book a window tint appointment?
You can book your window tint appointment by calling us or filling out the contact form on our website. We’ll help you choose the right film and confirm pricing and scheduling.
Can I roll my windows down after tinting?
Not right away. The film needs a short cure period — usually a few days, longer in cold weather — for the adhesive to fully bond. We will tell you exactly how long to wait based on the season. Rolling windows down too early can shift or scratch fresh film.
How long does the cure take, and will I see haze at first?
It is normal to see slight haziness, water bubbles, or a cloudy look for the first several days to a couple of weeks as the last moisture evaporates. This clears on its own, do not pick at it, and it will look crystal clear once cured.
Does ceramic tint block my phone, GPS, or E-ZPass signal?
No. Quality ceramic film contains no metal, so it does not interfere with cell signal, GPS, radio, Bluetooth, EV connectivity, or toll transponders. Older metallic films could — ceramic solved that.
Does window tint actually reduce heat?
Yes, significantly — especially ceramic. Ceramic film rejects the infrared energy that you feel as heat, so your cabin stays cooler and your AC works less. It is the single biggest reason drivers upgrade to ceramic.
What tint is legal in New Hampshire?
Front side windows must allow at least 70% light, and rear side and rear windows at least 35%. Aftermarket windshield tint is not allowed without a medical waiver. We tint every vehicle to stay inspection-legal — see our NH tint-law section above.
How long does window tint last?
Quality ceramic tint, professionally installed, lasts the life of the vehicle and is backed by our lifetime warranty. Cheap dyed film, by contrast, often fails within a couple of years.
Does tint turn purple?
Only cheap dyed film does — that purple, bubbling look is dye breaking down under UV. Carbon and ceramic films use no fading dyes, so they hold their color permanently. We do not install film that turns purple.
Can old or bubbling tint be removed?
Yes. We safely remove old tint and clean up leftover adhesive before installing fresh film. Removal adds some time and cost depending on how old and stubborn the existing film is.
Is ceramic tint worth the extra cost?
For most drivers, yes. The jump in heat rejection, clarity, UV blocking, and longevity — plus the lifetime warranty — makes ceramic the best long-term value, especially if you keep your vehicle for years or drive an EV.
Can you tint just the two front windows to match my factory rear tint?
Absolutely — this is one of our most common requests. Many vehicles come with factory-tinted rear glass, and we add matching (legal) film to the front to even out the look and add heat and UV protection up front.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Our premium ceramic tint carries a lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, fading, and discoloration, for as long as you own the vehicle.
How do I clean tinted windows?
After the cure period, clean with a soft microfiber cloth and an ammonia-free glass cleaner. Ammonia-based products can degrade film over time. That is the only special care ceramic tint needs.
Will tint help protect my interior?
Yes. By blocking up to 99% of UV and most infrared heat, tint dramatically slows the fading and cracking of your dash, seats, and trim — protecting both comfort and resale value.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, including 0% options, so you can get the film you actually want and pay over time. Ask us for details when you book your quote.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
We recommend booking so we can reserve a bay and have your film ready, but reach out anytime — we will get you scheduled quickly, often same week.
I'm in Manchester — is it worth the drive to Hooksett?
It is a short, easy trip up I-293 / 93/ Route 3, and the difference in install quality is exactly why Manchester drivers make it. You get a clean, climate-controlled install and a shop that stands behind its work — worth far more than saving a few minutes.
