Salem sits right on I-93, and that stretch of highway is busy with commuter, truck and construction traffic year-round. In winter, sand and salt go down by the ton, and plenty of it comes back up off the tires in front of you. The result shows up on the front of the car first: pitted bumpers, a peppered hood edge and chipped mirror caps. Paint protection film puts a clear, tough urethane layer over those panels so the damage lands on the film, not your clear coat.

IMS Detailing is a Hooksett shop at 78 Londonderry Turnpike, Unit G3. We’re not located in Salem and we don’t do mobile installs. Salem customers bring the vehicle to us, and the film goes on indoors in a clean, temperature-controlled bay.

What’s Included

We start by washing and decontaminating the car, then inspect the paint under bright shop light. Film seals in whatever’s underneath, so we’ll flag existing chips or swirls and recommend a polish where it’s worth it. Each panel is cut and fitted, edges are wrapped where possible, and the film is post-heated so it settles in place. At pickup we go over aftercare, including how long to wait before the first wash.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you located in Salem?

No. IMS Detailing is in Hooksett, about a straight run up I-93 from Salem. All installs happen indoors at our shop.

What’s the difference between partial and full front?

Partial front (starting at $1,200) covers the bumper and the leading part of the hood and fenders. Full front (starting at $2,000) covers the entire hood and fenders, so there’s no film line across the hood.

Is the track package only for track cars?

No. It adds rockers and other high-impact areas on top of full front, which helps on any car that sees a lot of highway and winter driving. It starts at $2,600.

Will the film yellow or peel?

Quality modern film installed correctly is made to stay clear, and our PPF installs come with a lifetime warranty. Ask Jessa about the warranty details on the film we install for your vehicle.

Do I need to bring the car in clean?

No. Prep is part of the job, so just bring it as it is.
