Paint Protection Film for Nashua, NH Drivers

Paint protection film install on a car at IMS Detailing, Hooksett NH

Self-healing Ceramic Pro PPF for Nashua commuters, installed indoors by the owner at our Hooksett shop

If you drive out of Nashua most days, you know what the Everett Turnpike does to a front bumper. Trucks, construction stretches and winter sand all throw grit at the same few panels: the leading edge of the hood, the bumper, the mirrors and the fenders behind the front wheels. Paint protection film is a clear urethane layer that takes those hits so your paint doesn’t. Light swirls in the film level back out with heat, and the paint underneath stays the way it left the factory.

IMS Detailing is based at 78 Londonderry Turnpike, Unit G3, in Hooksett. We aren’t a Nashua shop and we don’t install PPF in driveways. Nashua customers bring the car up to us, and every install happens indoors in a controlled bay where dust, cold and wind can’t get under the film.

The Drive from Nashua

Getting here is simple: head north on the Everett Turnpike (US-3) toward Manchester, pick up I-293 around the city, and continue on to Hooksett. It’s an easy highway run, and most Nashua customers drop the car off in the morning and plan the pickup around work. If you need help with timing, ask Jessa when you book and we’ll work out a drop-off that fits.

Why Nashua Owners Make the Trip

  • The owner does the work. JP, who founded IMS Detailing in 2014, does most of our PPF installs himself.
  • Indoor installs only. Film is cleaned, laid and post-heated inside, which is how you avoid lifted edges and trapped debris.
  • Ceramic Pro Elite dealer. We install Ceramic Pro PPF, a gloss film built for optical clarity, stretch and water beading.
  • A long track record. We’ve been protecting Southern NH paint for over a decade and have ceramic coated over 1,000 cars, so we know what NH roads do to a finish.

What Our PPF Service Covers

Every PPF job starts with a wash, decontamination and an inspection under shop lighting. If there are chips or swirls we’ll point them out before the film goes down, because film locks in whatever is under it. Some cars get a light polish first. From there, film is fitted panel by panel, edges are wrapped where the panel allows, and the car sits so the adhesive can settle before you pick it up. We walk you through care at pickup: no pressure-washing the edges for the first few days, and normal hand washing after that.

Many Nashua clients pair PPF on the front with a ceramic coating over the rest of the car. If that’s on your list, see our ceramic coating page for Nashua drivers.

PPF Pricing (Starting At)

  • Partial front (bumper, partial hood and fenders, mirrors): starting at $1,200
  • Full front (full bumper, full hood, full fenders, mirrors): starting at $2,000
  • Track package (full front plus rockers and A-pillars/roof edge): starting at $2,600
  • Full vehicle (every painted panel): starting at $6,000

Final pricing depends on the vehicle’s size, panel shapes and the amount of prep the paint needs. We quote after seeing the car or good photos of it.

Every PPF install comes with a lifetime warranty. Jessa can go over the warranty details for the film on your vehicle.

For a deeper look at film coverage, our main paint protection film page covers the film itself, and PPF Before Winter in NH explains why fall is the best time to get it on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a shop in Nashua?

No. Our only shop is in Hooksett at 78 Londonderry Turnpike, Unit G3. Nashua customers drive up via the Everett Turnpike and I-293, and every install is done indoors there.

Which PPF package makes sense for highway commuting?

For daily Everett Turnpike miles, full front starting at $2,000 is the most popular choice because it covers the whole hood and fenders with no visible line across the hood. Partial front starting at $1,200 is a good budget option.

How long will my car be at the shop?

It depends on the package and the car’s condition. We’ll give you a timeline with your quote so you can plan the trip from Nashua.

Can PPF go on in the winter?

Yes. Because we install indoors in a controlled bay, cold weather outside doesn’t affect the install. Getting film on before the salt and sand season is actually ideal.

Can I add ceramic coating on top of the film?

Yes. Ceramic coating over PPF adds gloss and makes the film easier to wash. Ask Jessa to quote both together.
